Running and cycling events
There
are simply loads of organised running and cycling events in
which you can register then raise sponsorship money for us.
We have listed some of the main events here plus others our
members have suggested. If you decide you're feeling fit and
fancy registering, please contact Kate
Fitzpatrick for some sponsorship forms.

Cycling

the Nile |

Distance: 400k
Place: Ride along the banks of the Nile staying
in a cruiser each night. Highlights include visiting the
Pyramids in Cairo, cycling through villages frozen in
time and discovering Aswan - Egypt’s southern-most
city, famous for its Low and High Dams. Finish this epic
journey in Luxor which arguably boasts the greatest concentration
of monuments in the world.

| London
to Paris bike ride |

Distance: 300k
Place: This long weekend challenge links two
great European cities, London and Paris, covering around
300km in just 3 days. Encounter historic towns, sleepy
villages and rolling countryside en-route. Cycle along
wide Parisian boulevards to the finishing line at the
city’s most famous landmark, the Eiffel Tower. Free
day to explore the sights of Paris before boarding the
Eurostar train back to London.
